Samsung NP300E5K laptop with broken hinge and lid - repaired

This Samsung NP300E5K laptop with broken hinge and lid was a difficult repair job!

The right hinge had ceased up over its lifetime and applied extra pressure to the armature and the plastic lid screw fittings, shattering them completely. The problem was that there wasn’t a replacement lid for the laptop! I tried different sources to find a suitable lid and found none. I’ve modified the top lid on the right side, slightly loosened the right hinge and used support screws and epoxy putty to reconstruct the support. It is stable, strong and holds the screen up fine, and it removes any extra burden from the left hinge.
